Overall, text on this phone is very easy and one thing I like about the set up message is that if you have long text messaging session when you are text someone back you can look through previous messages sent by you and the recipient without having to go message and look back through the text - so they no longer have to remember what someone and forgetting text when you order them back! QWERTY keyboard is very much faster and easier to use than the touch screen keyboard on my apple ipod touch. to use now than when I had a phone with a keypad 'normal' but if you have large fingers typing on the phone and then use it maybe a bit difficult because the keyboard is really very small at around 4mm for each letter key (but I have small hands so it's fine for me to use) - although text on blackberries in winter time is very difficult!

Using the camera is very easy, you just point the phone at what you want to take a picture and then press the track pad and it will take a picture. No effect, focus or anti-vibrate with this camera so the picture may change completely opaque but I found the colours of pictures taken to be sufficiently accurate and if you have a steady hand then you can get some pretty decent photos. The only thing that I really do not like about the camera is that when you take a photo that makes noise, which is quite hard and I have tried several times to change the camera settings so it does not make this noise but I have not been able to.

Video recording is a feature that most phones now but to be honest I do not really use the video footage on any phone that I have actually - although the ability of video recording HTC sensation is rather amazing. After recording the video quality is not very good with this phone as a video is not very sharp and do not have high quality in my opinion, but as I said I do not use phone features. I might just use a video recording on this phone about two times, and once when I first got the call and I was looking through all the features.

Blackberry App World and social networking

As for social networks, I find that when I was in college I used the facebook application is quite a lot (during my free periods at college ...). Facebook application on this phone is very easy and fast to use, because the layout is simple and designed for mobile screens. This may have come downloaded on the phone, or I might have downloaded it I was not sure but it is a great application - until it stops working! This application works well for about one and a half years and then not work, this is the same time that the application starts it does not work too. The facebook, blackberry messenger, Windows Live Messenger and all the twitter pastor free on Blackberry App World. I can not talk about Blackberry Messenger (BBM)in this study because it has never worked on my phone within three years or so I have this phone and only a few of my friends that I have Blackberry daily text so it's just easier to text in a way everyone long!

(Longevity and durability of the battery of the phone)
One of the main things I like about this phone is battery life, for me, I use this phone for about four days a week to union and then on weekends, so it switched quite a lot of hours every week. Bateray lasted for me for about five to six days or more at a cost of such a large full-enabled for most of the day as well. And the phone does not take too long to fully charge either - maybe a few hours at most. Durability is another point about the phone call that I also really like, I have the phone for about three years and it does have some scratches on the back (as I do not like the cover on my Blackberry) and have one or two small scratches on the front but other than that it is a fantastic condition and I think it would be for one or two years.

Overall positive Blackberry Curve

Positive overall in my opinion are as follows: phone quickly and easily to manage as far as I remember, the size and weight of the prefect phone that makes holding and using the phone very easy. Home screen and main menu is very easy to navigate and easy to find what you want. Background personalized phone and easy to change the phone settings (apart from the sound volume of your headphones and cameras). All phone features including camera, video recording, viewing pictures, browsing the Internet and download applications very easily. The keyboard is great though it may take a little getting used to - when you get to grips with the keyboard you'll be typing at the speed of light ... well almost! Volume control button on the side of the phone very easily placed, the internet is an easy to use and SMS / call other people are equally very easy. Orange world! And finally a fantastic battery longevity and durability of this phone is also fantastic!

The overall negative Blackberry Curve

Overall negative in my opinion are as follows: only 2 mega pixel camera but does not produce good images sometimes, poor quality video recorder, although I do not use it at all. Headphone volume is very loud even at lowest setting and the camera makes noise when taking pictures that I can not change. Blackberry App World and facebook application on my phone has not worked for about a year or more - but probably only need to update but I do not really need because I use my iphone touch to applications and social networks as well.

Do I recommend this phone to someone else?



I would recommend this phone to anyone, unless you want a phone with a camera recorder / video is fantastic in this case I would recommend the HTC Sensation. But if you want a mobile phone durable, easy to use, everyday then this is it! It is very easy to use, has everything you need on it and the QWERTY keyboard is great and much easier to use than predictive text keypad. The phone also looks very sleek, simple and business like in my opinion about A fantastic Blackberry Curve 8520 .
